It was inevitable that Jeff Rowland Design Group would follow up its previously acclaimed integrated amplifiers with a design that has proven to be a sonic contender among the finest separates in existence. JRDG’s earlier designs significantly raised quality standards and provided cost-conscious music lovers with a previously unavailable level of performance.
The Concerto Integrated Amplifier has surpassed this benchmark. Housing an extremely efficient ICEPOWER™ output section producing over 250 watts per channel, the Concerto has the ability to drive any loudspeaker to more than adequate output levels while always remaining only warm to the touch. Coupled with a preamplifier circuit equivalent to the Concerto Preamp, the integrated amplifier economically approaches the performance of JRDG separates.
This product represents the sum total knowledge of Jeff Rowland Design Group's heritage of fine preamplifier and amplifier design in a slim, elegant chassis. Featuring preamp bypass inputs, dual line-level outputs, balanced and unbalanced transformer-coupled inputs, and extremely high energy efficiency, the Concerto Integrated Amplifier is poised to be the centerpiece of an outstanding two-channel stereo or custom installed theater system.
The most commonly used features of the Concerto can be controlled with an easy to use, six function, hand-held IR remote control while a dual rate volume control allows precision level adjustments over nearly a 100 dB range. The volume control incorporates a permanently noiseless optical encoder that will always maintain its tactile feel, accuracy, and channel balance at all settings.
Jeff Rowland Design Group’s Concerto: an integrated amplifier much greater and satisfying than the sum of its parts.
